Anaheim to Host Women's Volleyball World Cup
Omaha and Orlando get pool matches and the last 16 from 20 August 2027, and the Honda Center gets the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, ten months before it stages the Olympic tournament.
Anaheim's Honda Center will stage the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final of the 2027 Women's Volleyball World Cup ten months before it stages the Olympic tournament, the FIVB announced on 17 September.
Omaha's CHI Health Center Arena and Orlando's Kia Center get pool matches and the last 16. The tournament runs from 20 August to 5 September 2027 with 32 teams, and Canada, the co-host, has not yet named its cities.
It is the event's debut in North America. The three best finishers not already qualified leave with places at the Los Angeles Olympics, and neither host will be playing for one, because the United States is in as the Olympic host and Canada's women won NORCECA's place in Santo Domingo on 29 August.
The Honda Center is where both Olympic indoor tournaments will be played in 2028, which makes the World Cup's final week a trial run for the building with a trophy at stake.

The 57 hours belong to ION, which has committed to 17 days of coverage, 19 live matches on national television and 45 more streamed, with ticket prices due alongside the pool draw in mid-October.
