LOVB Sells Its First Jersey Patch
CVS Pharmacy takes the front of every LOVB Pro shirt in a multi-year deal that also reaches a club system the league puts at more than 30,000 athletes and families.
CVS Pharmacy will appear on the front of every LOVB Pro jersey from the coming season, the first league-wide uniform sponsorship League One Volleyball has sold in its history.
The deal is multi-year and makes CVS an official health and wellness partner, per the league's release of 1 September. LOVB did not put a figure on it and did not say how many years it runs.
It covers LOVB Club as well as the professional teams, which the release puts at more than 30,000 athletes and families. Named activations include a content series and a branded corner at selected club tournaments.
That 30,000 figure is LOVB's own, and it is why this is worth more than a shirt. A patch on a professional jersey reaches whoever is watching. A club system reaches families who already pay to be inside it.
It lands in a busy week of league business. LOVB said on 26 August that its Los Angeles expansion team will play at Intuit Dome, and on 1 September that LOVB Madison had hired Jesus Echevarria onto its coaching staff.
Echevarria is with the Puerto Rico men's national team, which took silver at the 2026 Pan-American Cup, and was an assistant with the Dallas Pulse before that. LOVB Madison is coached by Fernando Morales.
A jersey front is inventory a professional league gets to sell exactly once, and League One Volleyball has now spent it on a pharmacy chain.
